Anvil ties are made from 100mm heavy gauge pipe and for a reason. The safety in these areas is paramount and should an accident occur the size of the pipe will go a long way to protect people and horses from injury as opposed to the thin light pipe usually used in these areas. They can be bolted straight to the concrete with ease.
